Proto rail '07 vs. '09 slg ul

Just wondering what you guys think is a better gun... an older model proto rail (the '07 maybe?) which you can get for like 260 dollars new on ebay, or the new proto slg ultra lite for 300 dollars.

I would go with a used Ul'd 07 rail on the nation or here. I had one and loved it and nowadays you can pick them up for dirt cheap.

g3s are really tiny. and a pain to work on.

And they aren't very good on air and I think they have some problems. I would get the SLG, they have a better retail price and are better on air. I don't think the plastic UL frame is a good idea but I still think it would be better then a stock PMR. However a UL'd PMR would be better then the 09 SLG.

what ever works... hes just looking for a deal...why spend 250 on a new one when mine is 200 used twice LNIB but whatever its not going anywhere and im not in a rush to sell it... i could always put it on ebay for buy it now and it would sell but i just rather see if any of my fellow members wants it

I have to wait for my tax refund to come before I buy anything dude, but that is a good deal.

Look on PBN, you can get a used DM6 for 300-350, end the end you will be alot happier with it over the PMR or SLG.

There is nothing wrong with buying used, just buy from somebody with good feedback and know what your looking at before you buy. I have had around 90 guns, about 95% being used and only had one or two that were DOA but easily fixed.

Exactly. Even though I had a PMR and I loved it, I wish that I would have taken a little more time to look at used high ends that end up being a better deal.
