New elbow?

Hi there. I have a stock MR1 and I want to upgrade the barrel and the elbow. The elbow because

A. It's cheap
b. The stock one sucks, it moves around and is very brittle.

And the barrel so I can shoot better.

What barrel do you recommend? I play woodsball once or twice a month and I have been to a few scenario games.

What other performance upgrades should I make? Keep in mind this is not for looks.....

I would recommend the Smart Parts Progressive 14" and remember to provide the correct paint-to-bore match. For performance I would recommend an electric hopper, a regulator or stabilizer, take the venturi out of the bolt and for the elbow, here you go.

what does taking the venturi out of the bolt do and why should I do it?

I'd get a ccm feedneck, CP 14in barrel or J&J, an Evolution II or III hopper, and then maybe a new stock

How would I go abouts taking the venturi bolt out. It looks very important? What would I replace it with?

it's not hard at all, when I removed mine, the only thing i used was a pair of long-nosed needle nose pliers, and then I just unscrewed it, you don't need to replace it with anything

Isn't it the thing that the cocking pin goes into though?

No, the cocking pin goes into the bolt, but not the venturi.
