when you have a barrel unskrewd from your marker and you take a .68 cal ball and drop it in is it suppost to go right through without getting stuck or even touching?

no if its an exact fit it will be snug, if the paint is too small it will simply fall through
if its too big it obliviously wont fit

All paint varies slightly so it will do that depending on your paint.

It should fit into the barrel easy but fit snug enough it takes a little bit of air force (you blowing) to push it out the barrel.

That means your barrel is a large bore and/or your paint is small. I used to oversize my barrel so I didnt worry about about it & I dont see a whole big difference now.

I never had problems with over boring but if your anal about how it shoots, how much air you go through then it matters. If your just there to have a good time then I wouldnt bother trying to match the size up.
