noob... with a question..

hey guys im new to the game.. last year i played a couple times with some friends but never had my own marker.. couldn't afford one, but now i work full time so i got myself an MR1. love the gun. me and a couple friends played some 3 on 3 and i had a blast.

now im looking to upgrade my barrel. ive been looking around and i really want this http://www.paintball-discounters.com...em_020567b.htm.. will this barrel fit my gun?

im also trying to put a little red dot sight on it. just for looks. but would i have to buy a rail for it or would i be able to just attach one to the gun? i saw that it does have grooves along the top so mayb it can latch straight on to there?

anything with spyder threads will fit your marker, and as far as the scope goes the reason you would need a riser would be because its top cocking and you would run into problems with something being in the way.

ahhh i see... anyone know were i can get a decent raiser, im trying to get the sniper look for my gun. im getting that apex barrel but in the future looking to abtually put the apex tip on a longe j&j barrel.. mayb 16" or 18".

I got this one for my MR-1 --> QD rail It needed a bit of work with a file to get it to fit properly as the MR-1 body rail is pretty snug..

I just wanted the longer barrel to get the sniper look.. is there an adapter or something to put the apex tip on other barrels? im probably gonna go with a 16" j&j ceramic. but for now im getting the apex. anyone know how long that berrel is? i cant find the length in the description.

ok so im thinking about getting this http://www.paintball-discounters.com...em_010227e.htm .... i think by the looks of it, that i wouldnt need the rail raiser.. anyone have any experience with this or something similar?

if you can fit it on the short ass rail that the mr1 has, you're a better man than i. i doubt it, and unless you cut your stock, it's not up high enough. get the mr1 rail riser, and the dovetail sight. and spend a few bucks more to get the one wit a warranty that covers paintball damage
