WHY buy a semiauto paintball marker and mod it for fullauto ?

I was looking up MR1 videos on YouTube and alot of them was about fullauto mods......

I like it so far.... if you are still looking at a stabilizer, check out palmer-pursuit.com I bought two female versions (one for MR-1 and one for my MR2 ) but I think you might like the direct version, or buy the lapco spyder vertical ASA and get the male version. With the vertical ASA adapter you get lot of options to use the other regualtors/stabilizers.

check my sig for my MR-1 for what I'm talking about...

oh.. and if you are gonna keep the 'stock' stock, dog leg it by cutting the top part off.. I can post a pic if you need to see what I mean. It will keep it out of the way of your mask and the piece is plenty sturdy with out the top bar.

Ok... update. No longer looking to make it like the MP5 but more like that of the old MAT-49.

My stock is plastic, not alum like others I've seen that did the dogleg mod...
I'm really thinking of ditching my stock and making one out or 1/4 steel rod and mount it on both sides of the body, come back and bend down for a shoulder stock like that of some other SMGs from the later years....
Also it will slide closed for pistol use.

As for the air system...... I'm keeping the factory front clip, replace the hose with a steel pipe, my ASA is being milled flat on the top and drill/tap the top for the pipe. It will screw on the bottom of the clip and end up making the clip with a 90* ASA fitting of sort.

I wont be able to use anything bigger than an AirSource tank mounted as it will hit the trigger frame's bottom. But thats fine with me as when I want to shoot alot I'll use a remote line and a 20oz tank..

ii sports is a great place. they have a bunch. you can get them for cheap if you get an auction that no one bids on. i got matching left and right leg holsters for about $10 each.

all mr1 stocks are "plastic". the dogleg mod will work fine, its a really strong composite material.

OK work done today so far...

Got my ASA back, my 16 year old daughter is the only girl in machine shop and she's got an A+ ..... she milled the top and drill/tap'd it.
Also turned the front plug for me also.




I was setting up the length on the pipe for my airline.. A little to long. Time to cut and re-thread it.




After I got that right I went to work with my 4 1/2" angle grinder making a place for the Air Source to fit snug under the trigger frame. I'll finish it up in the morning...

interesting. dont forget to plug the front so the air doesnt go out the ASA. and if you have a dremel (or just a round file) you can shape the trigger some more too.
