you don't? it's the valve roll pin ( it keeps the striker from beating the **** out of you solenoid valve) if you didn't have it, your valve would be wrecked

Get a Palmers female stabilizer... if you are using CO2 (even if you are not) it will really improve you gun over all and it is a straight mount...
Here is a link Palmer Pursuit

Thanks guy but I have a new plan in the works. Mount a modified stock unit under the front grip/mag on a solid pipe not the flex hose.

NOPE ! After alot of looking around I see a few things diff from mine and others.... mine has a longer body..

Look at the distance from the front sight and the ball feed... also the front sight of the other gun notches down after it levels off and mine dont !

I also see it came with 2 diff trigger guards, the first was a smooth front to the bottom then turned to the frame, mine and others has a notch in the front for you to hold !

Yep they have changed a little from when they first came out...

We need to get a rep in here to lets use know !

seeing as you think spyder has a solenoid valve it makes me think you have not even looked at your own Spyder manual. but never the less i doubt that is what its for, possibly in theory it would work that way but it would only be there if the valve was loose, remember as soon as the pin is hit air starts to flow and well pushed the striker back. just as well as already stated the new ones and most newer models don't use it.
