Electra 08 eye problems

My eye light starts flashing after my first trigger pull, and cuts down my rate of fire significantly...Ive removed the eyes and cleaned them, also checked the wiring inside the grip already. I am using an energizer V battery. This marker just came out of the box! anyone have any idea what this could be?

ok does it work without your eyes on.... the light usually blinks when there is no paintball in the breach.... if you cock it , it should not fire, thus your eyes are working properly.... your battery will be fine ... also what mode did you have it in when you were testing it

first save youself some trouble and get the 9.6v rechargable battery it will save you money down the road and it works better anyway.

then only thing i could find in the manual about blinking lights other than changing modes


but just incase you don't have a battery issue
when your eye light starts blinking, is the breech empty or is there a ball in,

if empty, put a ball in or turn your eyes off

if there is a ball in the breech, check connection, and if dirty clean them.

i have the exact same problem with my 09 electra ball in the breech eye light flashes turn the eyes off still nothing and i have no idea why everything is clean and battery its brand new fully charged
