Hey, I just got an Evil Detonator Regulator to put on my VS2, but I can't seem to get the macro-line fitting to go all the way on, or even half-way on... Are there different sizes for macro-line fittings or something?
LMK Thanks Here's my problem in picture: ![]() That's where it stops... Any ideas? Thanks Last edited by Paintball Freak : 02-19-2009 at 05:15 PM. |

they have macro and then they have micro... but micro is ultra tiny!!! it should fit...try cutting the edges a bit kind of like a shave just a little bit the push it in...

doesnt the rubber part slide off? if you get that off, get a strap wrench to get the reg off

oh shoot!!! i thought the macroline didnt go in...oops!!! the screw side of the fitting is angled in at the end, kind of like a funnel. wrap some teflon tape on the fitting so it seals it up good and use a wrench and turn it clockwise until its snugged in u will know when its tight

My bet's that it's probably messed up threading on either the part of the regulator or macro fitting. Take the fitting off and inspect it for any issues with the threading. Then take a look at the regulator's end of things.

![]() ![]() all aftermarket regs come with female standard/npt threads so u can screw in a standard threaded fitting. *unless for some divine power a company makes one and specify it is metric* just check the fittings and let us know so we can help

The fitting doesn't always screw all the way in, don't try to force it. If its tight and you haven't stripped anything out, you should be fine.
