Quick question i know that Co2 and HPA expand differently and that can effect the dwell and the RS can shoot eathier so i am guessing that the dwell comes factory set to run Co2 I run HPA through mine and was wondering if you can adjust the dwell or if it is even going to make a difference? I only wonder this bcuz my friend has a smart parts SP1 and you can change the dwell settings from Co2 and HPA so i figured if they put that feature on the gun it must make a difference.

Well, on a Spyder, the dwell is slightly different than on an SP-1. The SP-1's dwell controls how long the bolt is forward, releasing air. On a Timmy or an Ego, it is how long the bolt is forward as well, which is where the valve is open and releasing air as well. On a Spyder, dwell controls how long the solenoid is on, and how quickly the sear pops back up. Play with it until it works, basically.
