What paint ya shootin?

Hey, I was having small issues with some of the paint that I've been using and I was wondering what you all use. I've been using Stryker paintballs, but I've been having some issues with some of them being deformed and slipping past my detents. I would appreciate some recommendations on paintballs.

P.S. I can't afford Marballizer. lol

i use stryker for shooting in the backyard, but thats it. on the field i shoot formula 13 at $50 a case

DXS/Procaps is good, Diablo's good, RPS is awesome, XO sucks, JT sucks, WGP sucks... pretty much you will get what you pay for. Buy a good, quality paint for a decent price and you can expect decent performance. But with Stryker at a cheaper price... expect crappy performance.

My home field uses Diablo paint. I really liked it, but its kinda pricey. But I guess thats part of playing paintball. I rarely ever notice any deformed paintballs with Diablo.

Visible Impact and Stryker are the same stuff made by the same company. If I remember correctly, it's just got a different colored shell. It used to be called Dusk and that was the best paint I've ever shot, hands down. I actually rank it up there with Xball (gold and silver). I believe it's (VI/Stryker and Dusk) made by RPS, but could be wrong on that as well.

I actually like Visible Impact/Stryker. For cheap paint, it's actually good stuff. It's usually round, breaks on contact and not in my guns. It's a bit small, but that's ok. If I had a choice between some of the other paint I've shot and this stuff, I'd go with this stuff because some was just crap.

I agree with Bigred. DXS/procaps stuff, Diablo's stuff and RPS stuff is awesome. Also, I like Nelson, but not all their stuff. We were actually looking at a sponsorship by XO, but it was such crappy paint we passed that one up in a hurry. I must be the only person in the world that dislikes Heat, because everyone else I talk to loves the stuff.

DXS Gold isn't ok, it's very good. I use DXS Bronze ($42 a case I think) and if I can't go to a Paintball store before hand I use Impact from WalMart which is pretty good for only $40 a case.

I Shoot dxs bronze most of the time, $55 cdn a case.
