That looks really nice and very clean. I have two questions for you. What length is the barrel you have for it and does the normal top cocking lever for the airsoft body cock the MR1? I am thinking about making one and am wondering what length of barrel will look right with it. Yours looks like it has the perfect length of barrel for the gun.

i have the 32 degrees 16'' nite stick and no I cant cock it with the normal cock because this one is an electric airsoft model not a spring one so I made a little hole to add a bended piece of steel so I can cock the gun...

if anyones looking for a cheap one, they have the g36c for about $13 (use Google Shopping) and the M85 with folding stock for $29.

another question: is it just held together by the screws or is it fused to the mr1 body?

I dunno - but i am working on mine right now! I went with a different body than the one used above - but very close. hopefully it will turn out looking as good as luisitopr's. from what the inside looks like - i am not going to have to cut away most of the screw posts...so i am assuming that it is just held together by the screws.
