 Scale of the dots is off but the idea is right. EDIT: Good one marv...beat me to it! New Question. If you have a 5 gallon Drum and a 3 Gallon Drum and unlimited amount of water how do you fill the 5 gallon drum with exactly 4 gallons?

fill 5 gallon drum
pour contents into 3 gallon drum until full empty 3 gallon drum pour the 2 gallons in 5 gallon drum into 3 gallon fill 5 gallon drum pour that into 3 gallon drum until thats full you now have 4 gallons in the 5 gallon drum
