Just out of curiousity, has anyone tried throwing a BL Torp reg on the ion? Anyone else having issues of it not screwing in all the way? How can I fix besides getting another reg?

Hmm, I had the same problem on my shocker using the Evil Detonator reg. I got the new ASA with a gauge port, which was longer, and it screwed on fine. I dunno about after-market ASA's for the ION, but it might be something to look into.

don't think the ASA comes off of that grip frame, but I'm looking into buying another one anyways...

Ion is a decent marker for the price, pretty quite but when shooting next to a timmy or matrix you will notice a difference in sound etc... The stock board is capped at 17BPS which is fine especially if you play tourneys which are most capped at 15 anyways...

quiet ?? .. not really .. quiet doesn't really matter though .. it's more about accuracy, and performance ... besides that it's all skill

compared to a spyder or any blowback marker for that matter IMO the ion is quite a bit quieter... but ooglie is right, it's not just the marker that counts, also invovles the person pulling the trigger too...
