Default The holy grail of all paintball guns (IMO)

Well guys I sold my pm8 and my sl74 and I got this baby and I was able to put up most of the money for my brothers DM9. You can sell stuff alot more expensive down here. Lets just say my bro had to pt up very little money.

First impressions are DAMN that thing is SEXY. The gun is small but not smaller then my pm8. It shoots unbelievably well even though Ive put in less then half a bag of paint through it( kicks the crap out of my old egos and my pm. The quick release ball detents self cleaning system is great works great. The hyper 3 is super comfy to hold. The milling is absoloutley perfect no dents or notches blemishes or machine spots. The anno is even better mine is the navy color its very dark almost like a dark gray. The trigger is a big improvement, the barrel is great. The case and packaging is Very well done. I like it better then my ego boxes because its very compact and cant break like the hard ego casses. Comes with a great manual and parts kit. All and all a wonderful gun Im very impressed with it. When I saw it on the internet
i didnt think it was so great but actually shooting and holding it I couldnt have been more wrong. :-D

You guys might be asking whos signature that is. When we went to pick up the Dm9s our field owner and good friend Checha told us that if we went on Friday hed have a special suprise for us. The suprise was Tony Perez who plays with Oslo Menace. He is a great guy he couldnt be any better of a role model. You would think that someone of his level would be a stuck up snoby person. He isnt he is just a regular guy who loves the sport of paintball. We hung out with em for 2 hours and it was for sure one of the better moments of my life. I was so impressed to see that someone that gets paid to play paintball actually took few hours to hang out with my bro,my buddy and me. It was also pretty cool how he encouraged us to try and reach your dreams. A guy who has the perfect job and is so big was so humble it was pretty amazing. He showed us his ego and said hed go out to dinner with us next time he was in town. Great guy and just in case hes reading this right now, Tony thanks for giving us your time and knowledge oohh and all the autographs. Unfortunatley I didnt take a camera with me but Checha took some pics and will hopefully be uploading them soon.

Fixed the images.

I wouldn't see myself owning a Dm8 or Dm9 probably ever unless it was given to me. Don't really see/read much difference in the Matrix line since the DM7. Shaving a few ounces, shaving the height, lowering the pressure doesn't really do it much for me. To each his own though.
Awesome anno I do have to admit that the milling does look pretty sleek.

But it is nice to hear that you got to chill with Tony.

Atually tha dm8 wasnt a huge change over the 7 but the 9 has a completly different bolt system and smaller lpr. Also this 1 actually makes no eye covers a benefit instead of a pain. Plus the hyper 3 and no leaky airport thing for the cp flow plug. It is also so much smaller.

Both have micro internal LPR's. Both use an "improved FUSE bolt" which are one piece.

Nop Red id say your right on most things but, the fuse bolt on the 9 is much smaller and lighter, my old excaptain has one. We tried to pop the dm8 bolt in my nine but its too big to screw in the the dm8 about the lpr you are probly light but this thin feels so natural to shoot and hold and it doesnt have 1 bit of kick.
