G7 Fly was $300 and the girlfriend said "no." This one with the Freak back (I have a few tips and an insert kit already) was $100, and I snuck it in under the radar. It needs a new battery or a board that can accept 9V's (like a Lucky board), but the batteries being sold weren't exactly made yesterday.

Spray n' Pray, that's about what I figured, but exactly how to do that is what I'm working on. Have to read the manual so I'm not messing anything up, but I'm confident I can get it done rather easily.

How to use angel the CORRECT way:

2.Take out eyes and clean
3. Remove ram and clean/oil (Use synthetic oil, not lube)
4. re-assemble the marker and put a few drops of oil into the asa.
5. attach your tank and dry fire about 50 shots.
6. take out bolt and wipe it dry (should have oil on it)
7. Mow faces.

Pssh. removing the ram is overrated. You can go like 20,000 shots on these bad boys before they need lubing. Just shoot it, wipe it clean, put it away.


Tim, I dunno if you've ever heard of this one forum, but its the F/S/T forum. You can put things up for....SALE there. You don't have to keep every single one.

Meh, coulda shoulda won't. I picked this one up from Dave so that he could get more Scuba gear. This one will most likely get a Lucky board and be fully operational in a month or so.

Also.. it's the BUY/sell/trade forum. There are F/S/T threads in it from which you BUY stuff.

As for rip down and cleaning... this is a 2k2 gun. The back of one of the caps has corrosion on it, so I'm not going to take very many chances until I'm sure it's completely clean.

Haha, that's why I picked up a nice Empire Adjustable tank... for $65. Can you beat that price?

It's getting there, it's getting there... Got an adjustable tank for it, now I need to send in the Tboard for a VerC and drill and tap for the eyes. Not too much further to go on it.

My Adjustable is just fine for its purposes, and hasn't given me any major issues other than me being afraid to fill it (already filled it, fills fine, just has a leak around the burst disk area that I need to take care of). Besides, who needs more than 4 tanks? I don't plan on running more than that many gun set-ups at once, that's just too much to watch and take care of all at once!
