i have an on/off co2 tank, and as you can see there is a little black plug type thing in it. what is the purpose of this? there are no o-rings on it and i can unscrew it with my fingers, even when it is flush, so im pretty sure its not meant to seal anything.
when i screw the tank all the way onto a tippman 98, the little pin on the asa plugs the hole in the black thing on the tank. if i took out, then that wouldn't happen, so is there any reason i shouldn't take it out? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's probably to make sure that the pin doesn't get bent.
