i played paintball a few weeks ago and my pilot would shot once and not re cock. The shop owner said the battery was the problem so i bought a new 9.6v battery, and filled my tanks. To day i had time and did a drie fire and the bolt wouldn't recock.

re-coking, isn't that something that was popular in the 80's? JK, some people have had problems with standard 9v batteries in thier Pilot"s and only the Java rechargeable ones will work. I myself haven't had that issue and use a Duracell 9V. As always; make sure it's cleaned, oiled/lubed and aired up. Here's some other help topics:

How long did you charge it for; overnight?
Ok, so you fire one shot and that's it; it doesn't re-cock? Or does it happen after you fire a few shots and then it doesn't recock? I guess I'm trying to find out if it's the acs just doing it's thing and stopping a chop. What type of hopper are you using? Some people have had a problem with the solenoid and shimmed behind it with a dime, but that was very rare. Is the gun assembled correctly? That is, is the rubber bumper in the right place behind the hammer? Does the bolt move smoothly with no obstruction when you manually re-cock it?

Well, without actually having the marker in my hands it's tough to trouble shoot it but I can give some info to get you headed in the right direction. If the gun isn't recocking then the bolt and hammer aren't returning to their original positions. Blow-back pressure is responsible for the energy to move the hammer/bolt back providing the gun is assembled correctly. The first thing I would look at is the sear and the hammer to verify if the edges are crisp. Next I would make sure that the rubber bumper is installed correctly as well as the rest of the gun parts. Does the bolt move smoothly when you cock it by hand or is there any feeling like something is binding or dragging?

did you lube the oring with gun oil? sounds like theres to much friction in your internals. and are we talking about the big o-ring around the spring?
