Bolt Hangs Up

I noticed after pulling down my Electra 08 to clean and lube, that now my bolt seems to hang up. You pull it back and pull the trigger and it does not release. The actuator is moving correctly and I re-lubed, installed new battery and even aired it up. Yet it still hangs up. Should I file down the lip of the bolt a touch or the metal rod that locks the bolt in place? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

try with a 9.6 volt spyder rechargeable battery.. i bet it will solve your problem.

the problem is now solved.. the thing is, the new electra (my new electra) does not work with standard 9v battery, it just dont have enough power to hit the sear.. i just switch to a 9.6v and work great.. thanks!

Sounds like others were having the same problem as well as getting the same answer. I too will be switching my battery. Thanks for the info.

I read the thread.still doesn't work.
I just got the electra 08 w/eyes,yesterday.same problem as everybody,fires first few times then won't fire.
I have 3 Co2 & 1 72/3000 hpa tanks-they're all full.
tried a buddy's 9.6v...no change.Tried grinding a mm off the pin-exactly at 24mm.no change.
I've even removed the grip,I checked the sear & spring-removed the spring & checked movement of the sear-it was a little stiff,knocked twice on the roll pin & freed up the sear(moves real smooth now)reassembled it-no change.
I'm very,very disappointed with this issue since it seems to happen to most.
I own 2 A5's,2 T8's,1 Spyder 2000 & now the Electra-well I cannot begin to tell you how let down i am about this-the friggin' thing is Brand New!!Why is this happening?
I really don't want to have to send this in to get looked at-it's just a damn shame.
So if anybody has an intelligent solution,I'm all ears. Thanks for letting me vent a little.
