I wish there were more pump teams in general around here. We're the only ones in the greater Rochester area. There is Bay City... but they're over near Buffalo.

We're trying to talk to the owner of the field I manager at to see if we can get a special "Pump Players Night (PPN)" going. The problem is, pump players lower business due to the lack of need for paint. I would have to suggest to him to raise the entry fee to about $30, that way he's not losing much money.

The problem is, getting people to want to play for $30 entry, on top of paint costs. Most pump players are more on the conservative side of spending, but I personally can say that I would be willing to pay that much to actually play with other pumpers.

I honestly feel that those that feel pump is no fun are the ones that don't have the skill to go along with it. They see it as too hard and think it's impossible, therefore they don't want to practice at it and get better. Sure, it's a little frustrating.... but in all honesty, I think 90% of the people you ask, that have played with a pump, will tell you that it's more fun, if not as much fun, as playing semi.
