Howdy, new here, working on a project. Couple questions
First:body is to long for frame, can/should I cut some of the body off Second: Theres a "lip" on the spyder where the frame kinda would get all "snug" in. What should i do about this to fit my cocker on it? Third: "misplaced" all the internals, anyone willing to part there e99 internals? :P Appreciate it guys! Richard. |

Your right
However I COULD make it fit by grinding off a bunch but then it would look like crap I really would like this to be kind of a 1 of 1 gun, but what are good frames for spyder guns? This will be strictly mech. |

I got a VL frame to fit my spyder. It should fit on the E99.

Spyder Classic single trigger frames are good frames for mechs.
There is no point in having a double trigger if you're running mech.

Unless you plan on making it a closed bolt/pump, you REALLY don't want a cocker frame on a spyder.
also DON"T DO IT. not till I get MY gear so I can build my spocker >_> anyways, my plan was to utilize the back hole for the back mount on the frame, and drill/tap a new hole for the front. Also, I'd file down the body so it would be flat, and somehow modify the hammer to have a lug in it so it catches on the cocker's sear. I already modified the top half to make contact with the bolt so I can have it be a internal cocking spocker.

I tried this. It took extensive amounts of body modding. It is not worth it. I gave up on it
