weight reduction?

what can be done to lighten the stock mr1? I've been thinking about getting one to build a scenario gun out of it. The other day i got to play with one and they are freakin heavy, looked up the weight and they are close to 4lbs

remove "mag", bottom line and asa and replace with a remote

You could also halfback it. Though unless you replace it with lighter material, that would ruin it's looks.

unless he could some how iig it to look like the slider on an actual pistol so that it looks like it is recocking and placeing a new bullet in the chamber........................................... ...............i now have an idea for a new project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you mean like cut the body in half? lol i dont wanna do that, i like the look of it as it sits, just too heavy

basically what irish is saying is take the body and make each corner a quater of a rectangle then remove the quater that has the cocking pin sticking through it
