Question Squeaky Trigger

Hello again All, and yet another question by the newbie.

I have a stock MR1, and the trigger squeaks. I do have oil that came with the gun (never used), and the gun has only been used one time so far. But is it possible to oil the trigger w/ OUT having to take the gun apart? Maybe oil it bu putting a drop of oil where the trigger is in the gun (holding the gun upside down of course)? Also on the same topic do you think oil will get rid of the squeak in the first place?

Also is there anything else on the gun I should constantly be checking with oil? And if so what is the best procedure for me to do this?

Thank you,
Glen

its probably the spring thats squeaking, not the trigger itself.

Is it possible to oil the spring without disassembling the gun?

take the trigger frame off and put a drop or two in the hole where the trigger touches the spring.

you should also oil the o-rings since its a brand new gun.

Dont be scared to take your marker appart the first thing you should do when you get a new marker is familierise yourself with it so when you have trouble you will have an idea where to look. Tear that sucker appart and put it back togetehr a few times you will be a pro before you know it

It's teh trigger gnomes making all that racket. Spray some silicone in the trigger and spring area to get rid of them -

Thank you all for the help.

I am a little "scared" to take the marker apart, last time I did, I put the velocity spring in wrong, and the gun would shoot the ball more than about 3 inches. I put the spring back in w/ no tension by accident, is there a trick to that BTW? I somehow figured out how to get it back in (dont know how though), and the gun fires fine now, but when putting the velocity spring in, do I need to hold the trigger or something? to get tjhe spring to go in w/ tension?

Anyway, when the gun wouldnt fire, I was worried I got a lemon gun, then my bro and I played w/ the spring and put it back in (again somehow) w/ some tension to it, and tried the gun again, and it was fixed.

I just would never want to break the gun, since I really have no idea what im doing.

There's no trick to putting the spring back in, just keep taking it apart and putting it back together and you'll be able to do it blindfolded in no time. Just pay close attention to what you do correctly so you can repeat it later.

You should only have a lot of tension if the striker bolt is in the cocked position. Just push forward on the bolt and pull the trigger.
