Default So using Anti-Siphon CO2 Tank on a paintball gun, is as good as using compressed air?

because since the anti siphon co2 prevents liquid from getting into the gun, its basically as good as a compressed air tank right?

or am i wrong?

please explain

Wrong. The two gasses don't work the same. C02 shifts from liquiq to gas when fired, HPA does not. Anti-Siphon will make it near impossible for liquid C02 to get into your marker under normal circumstances, but that still does not make the two gasses the same in any sense.

Because of the phase shift of C02 a lot of cooling of surrounding components happens and with sustained fire or a very low ambient temperature the phase shift C02 undergoes becomes increasingly difficult. This, amongst other reasons, is why liquid C02 gets into your marker.

Another thing that makes it different is that most HPA tanks are already regulated down to normal operating pressures, whereas C02 tanks are not regulated. So a setup with consistency closer to that of HPA would be not only to Anti-Siphon your C02 tank, but to also regulate it.
