Remanufactured Markers? Electra 08 vs VS2?
Okay, do remanufactured markers include the original box, manuals, parts, ect?
I'm wanting to buy a VS2 on actionvillage.com, and a reman. VS2 is only $110... I'm all about resell value, so I like to have everything that came with it. Now, I'm still deciding on a marker, and I just don't know what to get, the Electra 08 or the VS2. I like the trigger on the VS2 better, but the Electra 08 is lighter and shorter. The Electra does not come with a rechargeable battery and charger, but the VS2 does. The Electra has Semi and Ramp PSP + Millennium, while the VS2 has Semi and 3 Burst. Although, I can get the Tadao board plus the M7 chip for $85, making the VS2 only $195... Does anyone have both markers? I would like an opinion by someone who owns both. If the remanufacture is from Kingman more likely it will come in original packaging. I have had a VS2 and now own an 08 Electra. By comparison they both have their pros and cons but all in all I like the 08 Electra better just by its size and weight. Not to mention the VS2 VA is not standard so you will either have to use the supplied bottom line regulator or purchase an aftermarket VA to use a different regulator. With the Electra it has standard threading so you can change out for an aftermarket regulator if you have to but I still think the stock regulator design is great. On my Electra the only thing I am electing to change on it is the feedneck. Everything else doesn't need changing unless you are really determined to swap it out to something aftermarket.
