Why Do I Need an Expensive Gun?
Ok well I am just wondering why I need a high end gun to compete in tournaments or against the big dogs? Why do I need a higher end gun if my low end gun can shoot as fast as I pull the trigger? Whats the difference? Why buy 500$ dollar guns when you can buy plenty of cheaper guns that can keep up with your trigger finger? Can someone please explain this to me?
 Because I am pretty much stumped on this subject.

its not just about ROF but about consistency. you want your gun to be as accurate as possible, which means you want your velocity fluctuation to be as low as possible.

better consistency, less kick, smoother operation, more control (debounce, cycle filters, dwell, etc), agg factor.
However, if you like your setup, don't go changing it. Stick with it until you feel like it is holding you back / you want something better.

For this same question, my team is proving the "high end gun will slaughter all" theory wrong.
We're proving that 1 ball is as good as 20. Yay for pumps. Anyone who tells you that your gun can't be used in a tournament (unless it's electronic and cannot be tourney locked) is wrong. You can use any gun of your choice, regardless of cost. (Just as long as if it is a electronic gun, it can be tourney locked)

You don't have to spend that much to get a high end. Older Timmys, Angels, and DMs have really low resale value right now. They are IMO still high end. Yes they may not have all the bells and whistles of the new stuff out now or they might weigh a little more but IMO they can definitely still keep up for any tourney baller. Plus you will still have a ton of money to use on paint to get better.

 if i were to get a "high-end" gun, it would most likely be a used timmy.

Yeah I really like Timmys they don't have alot of 'kick', not that loud, efficient, fast (I can shoot my A-bomb just as fast as my friends 06 Ego), cheap, and agg what more could you want
