i bought a craftsman strap wrench from sears for about 4 bucks... lifetime warantee too.

if you cant find them at sears, auto parts stores should have them, because alot of people use them to change oil filters.

I wouldn't buy from Harbor Freight, sure it's cheap, but the quality is terrible. It's cheap for a reason. I picked up some strap wrenches from Home Depot.

He gets the point use a strap wrench to avoid the scratches.

Along the same idea I would think that those small auto touch-up paints would be good if your marker has a unique color you're trying to match.

Strap wrench or not, you're going to get occasional scratches on your marker. Nice tip! I'll try it.
