I less than 3 nail polish!
finally got around and bought some black nail polish to cover scratches, and this stuff works like a charm. i re-did a whole cocker reg that got chewed on by vise-grips! and it looks better (glossy-er) and goes on smoother than modeling paint. ive tested a lot of brands and colors before, and they all hold really well.

I'm with DF...I couldn't find a strap wrench to save my life a couple weeks ago - Wal-Mart didn't have them, Atwoods didn't have them, none of the hardware stores NOR the one and only tool store we have here. Someone told me to go to the auto stores to check, and to check with Sears - but by then I was tired of using gas to drive all over the place just for a strap wrench...

Rubber padded vices work wonders.
 Get them at a lot of hobby stores, and the one i use can go 360* in rotation.

If you do a search, they have others available there as well. They may even have a retail store locally.........oh wait, you're in Europe aren't you? Scratch that idea -

hah, i have a harbor freight right near my home depot ... i'v used their equipment .. but it tends to break easily ... really cheap though ..
