Default eyes on sonix

hi all, i have the older black and red sonix. i have the rocking trigger and a virtue board, i would like to know how i can mod my gun to have the eyes installed. ive tried the otters customs site. the eyes pattern he has doesnt work with my gun, the part were u drill is were my detent is. any ideas?

I've got this same issue for that gun. I've never installed eyes before but I was thinking of offsetting it, so that one is above the detent, and the other is below it but they are still centered in the breach. I'll try drawing something up.

i cant do that, the eyes i have are breakbeam eyes.

No, that's just the idea I'm tossing around for the future. This gun has alot more modifications that are getting done before the eyes. Once I get working on it it won't even look like a sonix anymore. If you wanna try it, let me know and I'll see about helping you design some eye covers. I really don't even know how feasible it is because I've never used eyes before.

lol i was thinking just use tape and silicone.

i dont know. i dont wanna just start drilling holes. it would be nice if someone made a template.
