This gun good for speed/hyper ball?

Played recently at my local field and saw bunch of peeps with ions, dm5's , and other cool guns(high price). I did ok i guess, but just wondering if its cause i suck or just cause they got way better guns then me?

btw i tried the speedball cause woodsball got to easy 8(

well im guesssing you have a pilot? the gun doesnt make the player, but it does help a little to have a better gun. i noticed when i had my rodeo i played ok and then when i used my friends ion or my shocker now i could play a lot better. i dont know what it was, maybe i felt more confident or something. but its aways better to play against better people, you'll get bettter faster, and you'll learn tricks from them.

yeah your probably right. when i stepped on field the kinda smirked at me since they all got high end guns 8(. bunkered some of um but got owned myself soemtimes. guess 13bps is teh suxxor against them

Its not the gun. Not saying that you are a bad player but you could put a pump in a good players hands and they will do good. Just pay attention to others and form strategies. You'll get better as you play more.

I think its 85% gun, 15% shooter. It only takes one shot to eliminate a player, and it doesn't matter if that one shot is comming from a pump or a high-end gun shooting ropes.

Get my T1 for 200-225.00- great gun for speedball and will make you the most awesome speedballer ever!!!

Just kidding (about the better player thing!!!) But, I do think that the gun DOES help more than a lot of people think. Thing is, there are no studies out there to prove one way or the other. Sure, an awesome pro will probably own someone even with a pump (maybe - see Ryan Greenspan shot by pump player....) You have to have skills other than just pointing and shooting, but the gun certainly will help with that. After all, you want to be sure your paint flies where it's pointing consistantly and constantly and a good gun will do that for sure.

Hmm im pretty accurate with the gun, my snappin needs some improvement and my diving suxxors(looks like i tripped over a rock). oh well skillz come in time right?
