Another plac you could check is the empire since I seen you joined there and are ignoring me (Stooge thing to do ) go to the alternative weapons section and look through that section there is alot of different Ideas there and im sure if you made a thread asking for help lots of people would ask you. I beleive someone just asked for plans and someone threw up helpfull links to him. Check it out its deffinatly worth a look.

I would just use a solenoid with a simple pushbutton, but thats me.

Good luck with the project do you have a design in mind or an idea of what you want the body to look like, overall langth stuff like that?

I'm thinking try and make it single tube, LAW-style, HPA w/remote, reg, try for a pneumatic trigger (it may be more than my limited skills can muster, but if I can look at one up close to see how it works, I might be able to), 18-25" give or take 5", 2-4" diameter, and make sure to have redundant safety features (don't want to end up like the guy on "If you build it EMTs will come thread").
