i had a spare mech trigger laying around, and i had always wanted to turn it into a single trigger since they're almost impossible to find. instead of pulling out the dremel right away, i wanted to see how much i could shape it with just a hammer. bad idea! i ended up breaking it twice, and it ended up like this:


then i took a dremel to to define the curve more and sand down the sharp edges. after i had it how i wanted it, i threw it in my spare frame to try it out. it worked very well, and probably nicer than regular single triggers.


i threw a quick coat of paint (in this case, nail polish) on it, and put it in the marker i wanted to use it on:


next step is a cheap single trigger frame!

It's fairly cheap but it's nothing but a frame(no internals).

yeah, thats what i'll probably end up getting if i cant get a classic frame in b/s/t for cheap. i want the m16 look like ted has on his mr1

Thats why i like you df dont do the safemod with the dremil experiment with a hammer
Why dont you dremil the rear of it a lil to put a sort of point on it?

i probably will this weekend. i wasnt sure what bits to use, so the shaping process went slow.

i used i think it was the stock one( i think..its like a cylinder but has grooves in it and the grooves twist) to shape mine from the same frame a victor I uses and it was a black double trigger and i got mine to a pretty nice curve that feels nice just gotta watch out and occasionally clean the gunk out of the grooves because that bit doesnt like aluminum very much

ted has a nice MR1. can wait too see ur finished marker...im still not done with my MR1...im looking for a MR2 or MR3 front shroud so it gives it that extended look

i like the idea. but clean it up. like polish then paint or even just get it powder coated.

modded, i think i'm going to throw a g36c airsoft body on it, since its my loaner/backup to my backup gun.
