at the end of the week,
it doesnt matter that you failed a test,
your parents are on your case,
or that your significant other is in one of her moods.
as soon as you put that mask on, it becomes a seal,
your own personal bubble against the world.
nothing matters except paint, air, and adrenaline.
you live for the moment, not pausing to think,
your mind focused completely on the game.
you live for each shot like each breath that you take,
living each second for that next hit or miss.
adrenaline pounding, paint flying through the air,
you make your next move,
a solitary leaf in an ocean of others like you.
this is what we live for --
to step on that field every saturday,
rain or shine.


its raw, uncut, and sporadic. just like the game itself. i had to get rid of some of my creative energies, seeing as i havent touched a dremel in weeks! plus, i've been listening to a lot of fort minor (practically the entire Rising Tied album) and mike shinoda's words always get me moving!

I feel ya on the dremel part, from the time I mailed out the Spimmy I keep picking up the Ripper or the A1 with dremel in hand and then talking myself down, I need a project before I loose my mind.
