So ive decided to go with the sp1, but i was wondering, i am more of a mech guy, so i dont have to full with batterys i was thinking of just getting the non electronic one,....I only use semi auto anyways, is there a difference in performance from the mechanical and the electronic in semi auto?

other than trigger pull, I wouldnt think so

The SP1 has a magnetic return trigger, which makes it have a very "snappy" return. It also has a reasonably short trigger pull, both of these things are advantages over mechanical, however, neither are significant advantages.

Trigger doesn't affect accuracy or range at all.
