Yeah its the same length. However, there's a small little plastic tab designed to hold the handle in place on the rail that needs to be ground off or cut out of the rear section of the the handle if you want to put the X36 handle on an MR3. Apparently the weaver alignments for the X7 are a bit different for the MR3.
