Barrel mod

has anyone did a mod on a stock barrel???

i've dremeled designs into one, and i've seen people cut designs out of the tip (i think...)

The only thing i have seen barrel wise is custom shrouds and cuting the barrel to a shorter langth. other than that i dont think that I have seen or heard of anything different.

I was thinking about making a few cuts on the tip of my stock barrel, kinda like a design that would match Doc's stinger body, like a stinger barrel.

you have to remember that the barrel may not screw in exactly the same, depending on your barrel o-ring, so it may not line up right every time. after leaving my barrel on my gun, i took it off and put it back on, and got a whole 1/2 turn more since them. so my whole barrel was upside down. your best bet would be to make sure you have a small barrel o-ring.

Never had that happen befor! Good thing to because I think i would get a little annoyed at having to reajust my BT16 each time i put the barrel on!

i think it all depends on size of your o-ring, and how long it can hold its shape (forgot the word for that...)

yeah im not sure I just hope that i dont ever run into that problam i think that would start to get old real fast. The last thing anyone would want to do is have to rejust there shrouds and the like before they hit the feild

i havent seen any but because ima big fan of .50 caliber sniper rifles ima try and make a muzzle brake that i slide onto the end of the barrel then it its or i might lock it down or something..

I used to have that happen all the time, and yes, it did get extremely annoying. Funny thing, I never put that together. Good advice there.
