I'd have to compete about fuel consumption on a diesel truck... it doesn't matter if your bed is loaded or you're towing, it'll still get nearly the same gas mileage as when it's unloaded. That alone puts it a leg-up on the standard gas SuperDuty. PowerStroke is the turbo-diesel version.

We had a powerstroke diesel and then we traded it in for an 08 f150 lariat with the 5.4 triton. I like it MUCH better than the powerstroke.

As for Toyota vs. Ford, the Tundra was the winner hands down 5 or so years ago. But Toyota's build quality has been declining in recent years so to say the Tundra > F150 is a bold statement as well.

You've got to be kidding me. I've been around Toyotas for the last 6 years, and every year they are getting better and better. The Tundra wasn't **** as far as a truck is concerned 5 years ago. Now they finally make a truck that can compete with the big boys.

The one area the 150 I feel lacks is the engine department. The 5.4, although a decent workhorse lacks a little power, but it still hold's its own. Hopefully Ford introduces the BOSS 6.2L in the 2010 150's and then they'll be all set.

I never said the Tundra was a better truck, but to flat out say the F150 is a better truck is ridiculous.

Sweet, a video obviously put out by Ford. I can probably show you videos put out by Toyota that show the Tundra beating the Ford in some sort of 'test'.

Actually, CaD put the Tundra in 3rd. With the Dodge in 4th and the F150 in 5th. Titan was 2nd and Silverado 1st. I didn't read the article I just looked at the places. Don't feel like reading it, but I will eventually as its surprising that the F150 came in last.

Obviously there are some seriously biased opinions in this thread that will not listen to reason. Here's a google search to check out clicky.

I'm a ford guy and it really doesn't matter to me that Dodge seems to be leading the pack atm. I actually like the Ram more than the new 150 atm. That may change since the new body is starting to grow on me.

*edit* I was wrong about the Tundra being best 5 years back. It was a definite contender but not best.

BTW, I think that the early 1990's jeep pickups are the best ever!
