Ah, yes, that would be a problem. Mine sits in my lower front bumper, in front of a vent in the bumper. Arizona is dry so it is a little safer, although I did have a problem once and it started sucking water (Monsoon rain). I got a pre-filter/Hydrosock from Injen and an Air Bypass Valve from AEM, probably overkill for me but I feel much better about driving in heavy rain now.

Actually I got a idea for it but I am leaving for 800 mile trip to kc for a wedding next week so its going to have to wait.

I realllly like those wheels. All it needs now is some true stance,

Also, California is doing this thing where you can retire your car voluntarily and you get 1000 dollars for it. My car qualifies for everything, so I filled out the form and am sending it in the morning. Hopefully I get it. I'll just be replacing it with an older Volvo, years 85 and older.

I really like the wheels... the only thing I don't like is the dramatic difference between the front and rear tires, not the size difference, that looks good... but the tread difference.

I hadn't noticed that, but it is a little weird.

Its b/c front tires are just the stock ones, they only got 3K on them and after the rear tires ringing up to almost $650 by themselves (cost+mounting,etc.) + the wheels I was pretty much drained on cash.


Wheel sizes are 20x9 in the front with 245/45/20's and 20x10 in the rear with 285/40/20.

i need new tires for my truck. i think theyre 265/70s but im debating on going a bit bigger. also cant decide if i want to go mud terrain and try them in the winter, or just get blizzaks and get some beefier tires for the summer.

Cool, they look good, but will definitely look better once it is lowered.
