My friend did his VR6 GTI.. just cut the muffler out, and ran bendy pipe to the back... ghetto as **** but it works, and it was past the cats so it actually passes inspection. Loud as hell but it sounds absurd.

No thanks lmao. I had to have it welded while I save up for the 5Zigen catback that I'm going to get.

All the shops are charging me 450 to bend, weld and install and I'd have to get the front pipe replaced as well as the cat for them to do it anyway... and they don't have mandrell benders, so I can't do the pipe size I want. So, for $700 I'm getting a already bent system and replacing my whole exhaust myself. I bought the front pipes, buying the manifold, and already have the cat. Excited to finally have enough for the system.

That's so overpriced... You can pick up mandrel bent exhaust tubing from dealers on ebay for cheap.

Pffff, diesel engines.. What a pain. Or is it gas.. But would a block heater really be necessary.. But that sucks Any updates?

yeah, they should be ordering me a new one any day now, then when it gets in, i just have to drop by so they can install it.

Just ordered a new seat, brake cable kit in white, and yellow bar tape for my bike. Painting it Matte Purple next week when those arrive.

I ordered new tires and tubes but the tubes I ordered are too wide. theyre 27x1 3/8 instead of 27x1 1/4. i dont feel like returning them cause i wanna ride the bike asap so i might try to use them anyway

Got tracking number for new catback exhuast system, should be here on monday and I just happen to be off tuesday so I can install it
