There are 08 Ninja 250s around here for 3500 bucks. I'd get one if I wasn't scared to death of other idiots on the road, lol.

I've paid about 3.2 total for that bike,all of my gear, insurance, and some maintenance things (tire irons + tire, 6 quarts of oil, oil filter, chain lube, etc).

Being that gas is $4.00 premium here now, I may have to get my dad's old Yamaha 550 on the road for a while.

Put in an oil pressure gauge on the Celica, discovered my oil pressure is low so I'll be cleaning out the pickup and changing the oil pan. Bought Energy Suspension urithane bushings for the rear sway bar. Waxed the **** out of it two days ago (I have never seen so much dirt come off of a car that I just cleaned.) because I don't think it was ever waxed before. I also waxed under the hood on all the white metal parts. Will put pictures up when it stops being crappy out. It's rainy and cloudy and is suppose to continue to be that way for a week. Blah.

$4.00 for premium? It's been over $4.00 for 87 Unleaded here for awhile, never mind premium sitting at around $4.30ish depending on where you go.

Ours jumped from 3.68 to 3.80 in a single night. I can't take too many more of those nights. Ugh.

Doc, I just put in $30 of regular into the Mustang... at $4.17/gallon. Chevron right across the street from the Arco I filled at was $4.21/gallon. You have it good, enjoy it.

It's about the same here, Doc. Though to be honest, Durham is actually worse than Raleigh right now.

Take the MSF course. It's worth it, even if you don't get a bike.

And if you commute less than 10 miles, ride a bicycle. A worthy investment, for your heart and your wallet, me thinks.
