I use zipties to hold alot of stuff together on my car!
Zipties and volvos kind of go hand in hand though. You'd need to own one to get it I guess.

I'm driving an 04 GMC Sierra 4x4 SLE Extended Cab that I picked up back in October. My 4Runner ran strong, but had a lot of small problems. Needs ball joints, etc. Probably 1-2k in work.
However, I miss it. I actually still have it, but my dad needed a vehicle so he is paying me for it. I am considering selling the truck and going back to the 4Runner. Payment on the truck is +160 dollars a month, not to mention a 3-4MPG difference. Owe 13k+ on the GMC, and only 5k+ on the 'Yota. I think my mind is made up.. |

Yeah, I always convince myself of reasoning to get a different vehicle. The first few (Jeep, Mustang, Nissan truck) were justified, but I should have stopped with the truck. After that, it was indecisiveness and bad decision making. The 4Runner was actually a good decision.

i love my car to death, only thing it needs is winter tires and a remote start, but i really want something thats 4x4 or awd and has a lot more hauling room.

Brought it back to the dealer and he's replacing mostly everything. He even ordered the Toyota fuel filler neck that costs him $200. So, hopefully this works out.
The brake lines werent zip tied, it was the parking break cables. We also determined that the oil was not a flowing leak, but more of a small one coming from the rear of the valve cover and dripping down over time. It just made it look nasty and I'm not losing much oil. 600 miles and I was down less than a quarter of a quart.

At least the dealer is taking care of it. Wish they would have taken care of my exhaust manifold when it cracked a week after I got the car
