Only Air powered gun

i was bored at school and was thinking, could you make a gun that moved th paint without a bolt and just air, with an electromagnet and valve like deal except the end of the pen would be extremly magnetic, and the valve would be directly behind the breach. Could it work? i drew it up but dont have my note book rite now.

have you ever seen the marshmellow launchers....there is a air only powered gun but they are not good

yeah but thats at most 10-25 psi, we are talking anywhere from 100-300, my guess around 175 because there is no bolt to cock back, all the air is focused on the ball and nothing else

its been mentioned before on PBN. kind of like a spoolie but without the bolt, right? it would most likely have to be single tubed, hammer style (tank ASA positioned right behind the valve) and then some way for the trigger to trip the valve. don't EP noids work kind of like that?

Bolts focus the energy into one point what the air does is spread the force out

but if you had a part at the end of the valve that was the same shape as a bolt face, that would eliminate that problem.

I've seen a vid of a "Homemade" paintball gun that ran off alcohol.. it was very weird but it worked, ill see if i can find the vid later
