I had a bit of free time today so I spent an hour or so on the eye covers. I stripped the old anno off using the dremel & drum sander (120 grit), sanded it down to 1500 grit, then polished using a dremel, buffing wheel & vornex rouge. Final polish was done with white rouge. I'm not worried about the LPC not being an exact match because I will repolish everything (frame, eye covers & LPC) once I have all the parts in. Here is how she looks with the newly polished eye covers.
