look through the stickys you will find a thread "Shadys guide to the MR2 yadda yadda" its called that for a reason! But to save you the trouble you just take off your feedneck with 2.5 allen wrench and your detent is underneith, hope that helps.
Oh and you could think about slipping in some timmy detents that are far better then the MR2 detents if you have to switch it.
