Alright well I've been offered a trade for my Promaster. The guy is offering a "custom" cocker. Now I'm totally a noob when it comes to looking at autocockers so I thought you guys might be able to help me out here. He says he's not sure about ups because it's so "custom". If you guys could let me know any info you can pick out from the pics. Also is it a good deal trading the Promaster for it or should I ask him to add or just not do it at all? Any help is appreciated.
Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]()

If it were me i would just keep the promaster. its a very good fast, consistent gun and by the looks of the cocker in the picture its dirty and it looks like he hasnt taken very good care of it. promaster

Yeah that's what I'm leaning towards. Just thought I'd get some more opinions.

keep the promaster. there is really nothing special about that cocker, besides the body. the pneumatics and bolt look like stock 04 pneu's and i dont even know where the hpr is from.
your promaster is quite superior to that marker, imo.

Keep the promaster.
if u want a cocker to mess around with, i just bought this one, but want to get rid of it, i already got another cocker. I've lubed up the internals, and timed it a bit, tho it needs some more timing but its already shooting real nice. but nothing like the promaster, the fact that the pro comes with the electric trigger should've been the deciding factor. that cocker doesnt have the SF frame. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j9...allPiks002.jpg |

Assuming he is including everything, new feedneck and ASA.
The up's I'm seeing are a derlin bolt, new feedneck, torp copy, and gauge. You're looking at a cocker at ~$100-150, leaning more towards the 100 due to lack of care. Promasters now go for 139 new, so used it's about the same price. Question is, do you want to downgrade to a mech? If so, it's an even trade. |
