Has anyone thought of making a MR2 into a spimmy?
MR2's are top cocking markers and can be halfbacked, so why not? hmmmm ideas/thoughts? |

Why couldn't you use the Timmy frame on the MR2? You can always drill and tap your own mounting holes.

I believe he got stumped on it and gave up, selling his parts to MVS1. I believe that the body style is different from the standard Spyders, and it gave him enough issues. If you were to get an ASA with two ports on it, and run one into the HP regulator and run an LP reg off the other outlet, it'd eliminate the need for the front block, which is where he got stumped at, I believe. Tippmann used to make the parts for their Ebolt kits that have that purpose exactly, you might be able to find one somewhere (I think Ares mighta had one in a Sales Forum thread).
Other than that, it'd be a bit tricky to get the parts mounted, but I believe it's possible.

yeah, but you can still mod the esp frame to fit timmy internals (otter shows it on his Spimmy page)
