Delrin ACS Quick Strip Bolt

I was wondering if anyone out there knew where i could find a delrin ACS top cocking quick strip bolt. By that i mean you can just pull up on the bolt pin and slide the bolt out the back like on some impulses and the Mongoose II. If you heard of any please tell me about it and get me a link. I really want to but one! Thanks.

uhm. im confused as to what you mean by "quick strip"

i know you can buy replacement ACS bolts at Paintball Central. dont remember how much tho

You know the cocking pin on the top of guns that you pull back on to cock the gun? yah. Some guns like promasters and such alow you to simply pull up (toward the hopper) on that nop and it releases the bolt from the striker allowing you to pull it straight out the back of the gun without having to mess with the striker and springs and stuff. I hope that helps anyone trying to help me.

A Shocktech 2k2 Timmy style should work. The only issue I'd foresee is the pin itself, with the flats for the ram.

or look for the timmy part mentioned above. might as well just look for the same one in a spyder partout

The only problem with going to a part out is none of those bolts are ACS (Anti Chop System) which i really need if i firing fast with out eyes

What marker are you looking to get this for? This will only work on some spyders unless you do some milling to allow the bolt pin to travel far enough forward.
Now, you can modify an ACS bolt to accept a quick strip pin. All you have to do is remove the striker pin, the cocking pin setscrew, spring and ball, drill and tap the existing hole so that it continues to the striker pin hole. Then put in the quick strip bolt pin, installed the ball, spring and setscrew and screw them in until they engage the bolt pin.

Well actually I was looking at my bolt before i read this. I concluded that by removing the screw that holds in the striker pin i could take that out and replace it with a pin I took from a Mongoose II. Then with further investigation I found I would have to mill a larger slot for the bolt pin In my spyder pilot to be similar to the Mongoose. I also saw that I would need to take of some of the delrin casing in front of the new cocking pin because otherwise th delrin would hit the pin and cause the ACS to become pretty much useless. Unfortunatly though once i started working on that i pretty much stripped the screw holding the striker pin in place. That most be really stuck in there, prolly with lock tite. Any tips on getting that out?

Heat it up carefully and precisely and then use an Easy-Out.

Heating up my bolt could screw up the delrin though. Right?
