For modding my markers I created a journal. It has drawings of my markers, what I want to do to my markers and drawings of (if I am trying to go mil-sim) real guns I want it to look like. I find that this really helps to design and plan out a project, and see what works and doesn't BEFORE you start to work on it. Hope this helps!
