VS3 Barrel tip?

I'm gonna email SP and see if they can shed some light on this. I tried my buddies 07 back and it doesn't fit either. They obviously have changed the way their produced.

where and when did you get yours, maybe halfway through the year last year they changed the size on spyder backs to fit vs's and mr's

I bought mine early last year.

oh, im just guessin but that fits my conclusion even more, i bought mine the day after christmas, they either changed something or my body is rigged

Cool thanks guys! lol Well I guess I will be looking for a freak kit or something.....I did end up getting the tip.......It was included with the body kit I won on Ebay for $5.00....I haven't used it yet but I prob will on Wednesday....I will prob stick with that for a bit......It should help out a little with accuracy anyway...

are you sure they are 07's not 06's they look the same but the 07's are thinner, you can tell by looking at the end, if its all smooth its 06, if it has a lip at the end its an 07

They didn't redesign them in 06. The previous backs didn't have 4 slots just 2 smaller slots. Then in 07 they put the 4 slots cut into the back. Good news though they started shaving the back edge of the backs around the middle of 07, in the email they didn't state why. I'm not sure if any other guns we're having a problem with them fitting. So all the ones manufactured after then will fit.

no offense to AV, but if your buying one, i would make sure i would buy one from smart parts to gurantee that it is the new design, the ones at AV might be the old ones
