yea you just have to pull real hard for it to fit i got one on my tank and it fits nice!

No real need to cover a metal tank. Buy a fill nipple cap and a thread protector, those are all you need.

how come i see ppl with metal tanks coverd to i just bought it. i mite be able to sell it to friend but do u say its worth selling. also is there a size diffrence between a 48ci 3k psi tank and a 48ci 4500psi tank because i know one holds more air but is there a size diffrnce

They're there for aesthetics, and to preserve the factory finish. Also, a little cushion from that steel is nice if you land on it.
No to the size difference. Both are 68ci (cubic inches).

They also have a tendency to slip around on your shirt fabric, when you are trying to shoot. Some people just tape up the rear of their tank, as an alternative.
