I measured the stock and a 20" SP Tactical.
My MR2 stock barrel is 0.696 0.697 and my 20" SP Tactical barrel is .692 .693 Those are my measurements, with a bernier of 0.002 apreciation. Both measured at the end with screw. |

so these barrels are larger than the .68 caliber of the average pb ? How does that pan out for performance ? |

benefits? well... gotta look at tight paint on the forum or something, people always says that you should use paint that fits your barrel or viseversa. i don't know much about it.

Got my hands on a 20" JJ performance ceramic barrel.
It is 0.687 0.688 measured at the front end. This JJ thing is accurate!!! i'll be testing it and i will give my 20" SP tactical to a friend with a MR1. |

Paint is never exactly .68 caliber. Paints can range from .681-.692 and some go even lower or higher. Depending on what paint you use you'll want a barrel with a specific bore. That's the good part about barrel kits. It comes with a bunch of different bores so you can adapt to any paint your using.
